I’m Pierre Fontbonne, a Paris-based director, live multicamera director, director of photography and Steadicam operator.

My path to filmmaking began with image and sound: four years at Gobelins, work in graphic design, then sound engineering and music. On film sets I started as a grip, discovered the Steadicam and found my way to framing and camera movement.

Today I direct and shoot documentary and branded films, work as a camera operator across fiction and editorial productions, and direct live performances. My projects include a film for Architectural Digest and Range Rover, concert work for Cercle, and productions for Vogue and GQ.
